The Therapist Visibility Project

Understanding how therapists ethically gain visibility, build trust, attract ideal clients, and grow their practices.

Why This Research Matters

Therapists enter practice to help people — not to become marketers.

Yet visibility and trust now shape whether the right clients ever find the right care. Most guidance available to therapists borrows from sales and advertising — frameworks that sit uneasily with the ethics of the profession.

This project exists to study something different: how practicing therapists build trust and grow ethically, on their own terms. The goal is understanding, not persuasion.
